Pumpkins
We have an annual pumpkin decorating contest in my family. Here are two of my past entries; neither of which won. You'd think hours with a glue gun and candy corn or a cute baby would win, but nope...my sister's seriously twisted designs won (I told her to use the prize money to seek therapy). Although, I'm still questioning my own sanity for sticking Stella into a cold pumpkin.

Oh my gooooondess! Words can't even describe how awesome these pumpkins are. Stella looks so darn cute albeit uncomfortable but it was worth it! Seems like an image that will be floating around the web for years to come. So awesome!
Those are amazing images!

Great images! More and more, I'm loving the white pumpkins. And, I love the plaid-painted pumpkins in some of those pics. People have gotten so much more creative in recent years with Halloween decorations.
Love all of those images, esp. the polka dot and tartan pumkins, so preppy! How long did it take you to make that candy corn pumpkin? It must have taken "fo-evah!!!"
Hi Kat,
It did take forever! I think it was two nights I worked on it and burned my fingers too many times to count. I still don't know what I'm doing for the contest this year.
xo
The candy corn pumpkin is soooo cute...love the idea.
Baby in a pumpkin is adorable too. For some reason that is reminding me of the movie "Waitress"...where she dreamt up new pies with weird names. Baby in a pumpkin pie. :)

Such nice photos and a bit inspiring. Stella is seriously cute in that pumpkin. You are quite the artist, because I could not handle putting all that candy corn on a pumpkin.
it is tough to get into the spirit without that chill in the air....it was 83 in my neck of the woods yesterday, so i know how you feel! have you all ever looked into the fact that this contest might be rigged? i need to see the design that could have beaten that candy corn creation.....talk about creative (and the time involved!) xoxo!
I am loving all the fall decor!! And what a funny little pic of Stella in that pumpkin!
Love the gold and white pumpkins! Cute fall ideas! :)
I LOVE your pumpkins, how did those not win?!? I'm making my boyfriend (who is an artist) enter an animal themed pumpkin at my vet's office...winner gets $100 towards vet services...I(ok he) WILL/MUST win!
oh man. I LOVE that you did that to your child. I'm totally going to be THAT mom too. haha.
