Love those boots - I have Hunters, but I hear Le Chameau makes a better boot. The snow is gone here, leaving behind only bitter cold. I'd almost rather have the snow if it's going to be this cold. At least give us something somewhat pretty to view!
We've been iced in for two days and while the roads are still not great, I did ice skate into work today. We're supposed to get snow tonight, though. It's made for a crazy week since all the Super Bowl activities have started and the teams are having to drive a decent distance to their practice fields.
Great article! My Wellies are good to trudge about in the snow, but I'm certainly not working the back 40 in them, and I can see why farmers wouldn't be sporting my navy versions with red trim. :) THey're not doing too bad - selling 1,00 pairs a day!
My well-used Land's End wellies are clearly not the "IT" wellie! Have to say though, they've endured many puddle jumping walks to and from school and my feet have stayed warm and dry. I have a cute J Crew pair too, but tend to grab my mud caked orange ones first. Happy Thursday, Tiffany!! Tessa
I have Hunters as my snow boots but they don't keep my feet too warm, even with the fleece socks. So I wear them when it's not that cold out and I have some ugly Emu's for when it's super freezing like today! Brr!
I never ever thought I'd wear my Hunter wellies during a Boston winter, but recently got tired of all the snow falling into my L.L. Bean Maine hunting boots while trying to clean off my car (a weekly event with all these big snowstorms). I have since moved over to Hunters for car cleaning mornings as they are much higher and I can hop through the foot plus of snow without worrying that my tootsies will be soaked. The Hunters are no longer an accessory that merely sits by the fireplace 3 seasons a year (yay!). I can't reccomend them enough!!! PS - I especially love seeing kids in Hunter wellies - too cute!

Are you snowed in?! I think North Carolina is the only place without snow right now...

Love those. I have black rain boots with mulit-color polka dots all over them, but I have my eye on the pink Hunters...
