This 9 bedroom house on Comfort Island in Alexandria Bay, NY, which is listed for $1,450,000 is described as a ramshackle of a mess. I don't know...I find it rather intriguing and would love to restore it.
Sure, Norman Bates immediately comes to mind...
But it's nothing some hydrangeas and fresh paint can't fix.
There is something really cool about that place, including the fact that it sits on a private island. If I had the $1 million to spend, plus a few million more for the renovation and upkeep, I'd seriously consider the purchase. :)
I LOVE those asian ladies on the staircase...am I crazy? BTW you made me laugh when you said you didn't want to enter the giveaway again because..."rude"!! No worries on the craft project...you take your time!

Holy Moly! So huge and awesome! And I think perhaps a little creepy, but that's just me.
Um, totally creepy. This looks straight out of a scary murder movie. That's why I'd not only renovate but put in an extensive security system :)
