The Love Letter

Is there a movie that you love so much you could watch it over and over and yet it's one that didn't get rave reviews, you've yet to meet anybody else who has seen it, and you wonder if you're crazy for loving it so much?  That's how I feel about the 1999 movie, The Love Letter, starring Kate Capshaw and Tom Everett Scott (side note:  I played pool with him once in NYC).
Perfectly described as a "wisp of a movie", it's set in idyllic Loblolly-by-the-Sea, a New England coastal town.  Don't try looking that up on a map because it's not a real town, sadly.  Have you seen this movie?  And what are your random movies that you have a soft spot for?  I have a long list of these!

I remember watching this movie on our flight to Ireland on our honeymoon! Cute film! I feel that way about a little film called "Greetings from the Shore," that's been running on Showtime lately. It's certainly not Oscar material, but the romance is sweet and the male lead is quite easy on the eyes. ;)
