An English Garden

Often times, I wish my backyard looked like this...
And then I realize I don't operate a nursery nor do I have a church as my backdrop.  But the beautiful Petersham Nurseries, an hour outside of London, does.  I so wish we had something like this here in Dallas.  A nursery, a tea house, cafe, and shop.  I'd spend hours there...

The places you showed are fabulous, so beautiful!
You crack me up, just keep on singing, hopefully something a little more catchy!

I adore English gardens - I've tried to incorporate more of that look with my plantings, rather than French, which is too linear, regimented, almost. If I ever make it to England, I'll have to enjoy a cup of tea there. :)

Looks like a wonderful place to spend many afternoons exploring. It reminds me of the times we went to the NY Botanical Gardens. Over the last several years they added a beautiful gift shop and a new cafe. I never tired of going there...even in the winter.
