110.  That's how hot it got here in Dallas yesterday and I was grouchy.  Massively, "need to go lay down, please put Stella to bed for me" grouchy. But today is another day.  It may reach 110 again, if not 111, but I'm trying to make the best of it and diving into these images, pretending it's all good.
"Yeah we got it all, no problems my friend, it’s a holiday in the sun."
- song Holiday in the Sun, Pennywise

These images do help! It's a rainly/gloomy day here in Louisville finally and I'm very thankful for the reprieve. It's only 85 versus 105. My poor folks in Wichita have been having the same weather as you and it's taking its toll. Hang in there, soon there will be a reprieve -I just don't know how soon!

My husband is working in Irving TX and has been complaining also! It's hot here in TN, 100 today! Where oh where is our "normal" weather? We are lucky if we get one or two weeks of good spring weather anymore! Seems to go from cold right to hot, now boiling!
Loved all your images very cool and refreshing! Took me down a few degrees!

Oh I remember that Texas weather very well...all I could do was take the kiddos to the pool. Just getting in the car on the way there and back was killer - had to make a stop at Sonic too :)

Anyway - I love the images you picked!

Lovely images. If it makes you feel any better I had one of those days too. My husband was out of town on a flight getting in around 11pm and all I wanted to do was put the kdis to bed early and curl up on the couch. But no, starting at 5pm power started but for 10 minute spurts until nearly midnight. I am so over summer!

What a pretty post!! Love all these pictures, beautiful reminders of summer, but 110 is pushing it, no doubt!! We are over our heat wave but its I will appreciate the next sunny, humid free day, and hope you get one soon too!

Yep, northern shores with cool breezes would be nice right about now. When the heat index is still in the low 100s at 8 p.m., that's just not right. Love these images - try to think cool thoughts, my friend!
