Charleston
Next year we plan on visiting a town that's been on my list forever...Charleston, SC. We might squeeze in Savannah, too, but my main focus is Charleston. I came across a Tumblr site that has wonderful pictures that excites me even more. It is a town that marries two things I love...being on the water and having that New Orleansy feel. If you have any recommendations for me, I'd be so appreciative.

Charleston is heaven. Dine at Husk, Fulton Five and/or Peninsula Grill. All require advance reservations.
Best advice, just stroll around town...and make a trip out to Sullivan's Island. And pick up a sweetgrass basket, see link below for more info.

I was there years ago and it was divine!! I would love to go back.
I sooo want to do Charleston! That's on my travel list for the coming year - fingers crossed. We've also talked about going to Folly Beach - great laid-back beach vibe, yet only 10 miles from Charleston. We'll see. Can't wait to hear about your trip there (love the images you included). Post plenty of pics!
Ooooo-- this is my #1 destination (US-wise), too. We are such kindred spirits, Tiff! ;) Can I fit in your suitcase??
